Overnight plan: 1 Nairobi · 3 Masai Mara · 5 Diani. Final timings follow your confirmed accommodation, transport and flight connections.
Day 2 · Nairobi to the Mara
Travel by road or a separately quoted safari flight. We explain the difference in journey time, luggage allowances, transfers and vehicle arrangements before you choose. Overnight: Masai Mara.
Days 3–4 · Wildlife and time together
Two full days allow a flexible balance of game drives and camp downtime. Request a private dinner or a balloon flight if you wish; inclusion and cost depend on your confirmed proposal. Overnights: Masai Mara.
Day 5 · From the plains to the coast
This suggested route uses a separately quoted flight connection to the coast and a road transfer to Diani. Direct or connecting services depend on travel dates; we confirm airports, timings and baggage rules before booking. Overnight: Diani.
Days 6–9 · Four full days at Diani
Keep your days open for the beach and your hotel facilities. Spa treatments, boat excursions and watersports are optional unless specifically included. A quieter room location can matter as much as the hotel category. Overnights: Diani.
Day 10 · Departure
Transfer to the agreed airport for your onward journey. Whether you depart from the coast or connect through Nairobi is confirmed with your flight arrangements.
Choose the stay, not just the destination
In the Mara, discuss a tented camp such as Zebra Plains Mara Camp or ask us to compare alternatives. At Diani, compare a beach resort with a quieter boutique stay. These are accommodation requests, not confirmed reservations or guaranteed upgrades.
Tell us whether privacy, an ocean-facing room, a bathtub, a pool or a quieter location matters most. We check the exact room category and facilities with the property before quoting.

These are tailor-made itinerary ideas, quoted for your travel dates and two adults sharing. Prices depend on your camp, room category, season, transport and activities. We confirm availability before you book.

- Vehicle and guiding arrangements: private road safari vehicle versus shared camp drives on fly-in stays.
- Park or conservancy entries, domestic flights, transfers and baggage allowances.
- Included romantic touches, optional extras, exclusions and payment terms.
International flights, personal insurance, entry authorisation costs, tips, spa treatments and optional activities are excluded unless your proposal expressly includes them.
Questions couples ask
Is every activity and vehicle private?
We distinguish your private road safari vehicle from camp-operated drives, flights, boats and hotel facilities that may be shared. A private dinner or exclusive vehicle must be specifically confirmed in your proposal.
Are honeymoon upgrades and special dinners included?
Only when listed in your quote. Tell us your celebration dates; we can ask properties about applicable honeymoon offers, eligibility and availability. An upgrade is never assumed.
When should we travel?
Choose your month around your wildlife priorities, budget and beach plans. Weather and wildlife vary; migration sightings and river crossings cannot be guaranteed. We explain seasonal trade-offs for your actual dates.
Should we drive or fly?
Road transfers can offer value but use more of the day. Flights add cost, connection planning and baggage restrictions. We compare both where practical rather than promising a connection before checking the schedule.
Can we change the number of nights?
Yes. Treat these itineraries as starting points. We can adjust the safari and beach balance, subject to availability, your connections and a revised quote.
