AA Lodge sits in the central part of the Masai Mara National Reserve. Central is the useful word: you are not committed to one corner of the park, so a full-day drive can go north to the river or south toward the Tanzanian border without burning hours getting into position.
It is a conventional mid-range safari lodge rather than a boutique camp, and it is unusually well set up for mixed groups — singles, twins, triples, family rooms and a honeymoon category all exist, so a family of five and a couple can travel together without anyone sleeping on a rollaway.
Six room categories, which is more flexibility than most Mara properties offer.
Central reserve position means solid year-round game viewing, with the migration in the wider ecosystem July to October.
Shoulder months of June and November often give near-peak wildlife at noticeably lower rates.
Being straight with you: this property is not currently a default in any of our fixed packages. We contract it directly and build it in on request. Any of these itineraries can be re-costed around it:
Comparing options? Every lodge we book is on the accommodations page. We would rather put you somewhere that suits you than somewhere that pays us more.
Tell us your budget and dates and we will put two or three Masai Mara options side by side, honestly compared.
