Endeem sits immediately at Oloolaimutia Gate on the eastern edge of the reserve. Gate-adjacent means you are through the barrier and into the park within minutes of leaving, which at 6am is worth more than it sounds.
It has ten rooms. That is small enough that the staff will know your name by the second morning, and small enough that you are not competing with a coach party for the breakfast buffet or the good seats at the fire.
The architecture follows traditional Maasai manyatta form rather than the interchangeable thatch-and-timber template most mid-range Mara lodges use. It gives the place a sense of where it actually is, which is a large part of why people fly to Kenya in the first place.

The eastern Mara around Oloolaimutia is good year-round, with migration herds in the wider ecosystem roughly July to October.
As a mid-range property the seasonal price swing here is less brutal than at the premium camps, which makes it a sensible choice for peak-season travel on a fixed budget.
